Magnums

Magnum is the name given to the superior size of the 1.5l bottle we offer in our range of organic wines. Of the larger volumes, you will occasionally find Double Magnum (3l) or Jeroboam (4.5l) among our larger formats. And why are the wines bottled up to Nebuchadnezzar (15l)? The first logical reason is that a bulkier bottle will fill more glasses on special occasions. A larger bottle can also be a "big" anniversary gift. Big bottles have another function. They are useful for archiving. Wines with potential oxidize more slowly in them and thus have better conditions for aging. And a final note: if the winemaker puts the wine in large volumes, he is sure of its quality and wants to show it off.
