Our sales focus exclusively on chemical-free wines. For several years, we have been selling organic wines produced all over the world. People often mistrust the "bio/organic" label. We are here to demonstrate that the journey to obtaining such certification is far from simple, and that skepticism regarding organic quality is completely unfounded.
Every year, our company undergoes a strict inspection of our entire product assortment. We are officially certified by the Czech audit company ABCERT AG as importers and retailers of organic wines—be they still, sparkling, semi-sparkling, or dessert wines. Based on successfully passing this rigorous inspection, a certificate of compliance is issued, proving that we fully meet the requirements set by EU and Czech Republic organic regulations.
Only with this valid certificate are we legally permitted to label and sell the wines and other products in our portfolio as organic (BIO).
This process demands that we strictly adhere to all established rules. Furthermore, it is a rather costly endeavor (as the annual inspection must be paid for), but we firmly believe that this is the only way we can offer you truly pure wines from organic production. It is not just our company, Organic Wines, that is being inspected; every single entity through which we purchase our organic wines is subject to the exact same scrutiny. The vineyard and the winemaker who grows the organic grapes must be certified, as well as the cellar or production facility that processes them, and any potential merchant we buy from. We must present valid certificates from all these entities to our inspectors.
Wine imported from abroad must be properly labeled and travels across borders and customs under a specific import number listed on the invoice and delivery notes.
It is a highly demanding procedure involving producers, suppliers, and customs officials, but this journey guarantees that the wines we sell under the organic label are truly natural and chemical-free.
