Description

Pairs well with: appetizers, fish

Grape variety: 50% Arinto, 50% Verdelho

Vinification: hand-picked, harvested in 25 kg crates. Complete and static decanting for 24 hours at low temperature. Fermentation in small capacity, stainless steel vats, takes place at 13°C for approximately 4 weeks, after which the wine is filtered and biologically stabilised. It is also aged in stainless steel at 8 °C until bottling by membrane filtration.

The zebro was an Iberian breed of wild horse, with grey and white stripes, extinct in the 19th century. When Portuguese sailors reached the Cape of Good Hope, they found that their horses were very similar to the native animal, so they named them zebro (zebra).
