Pinot Grigio

Full-bodied, golden, smoky, spicy, for us Burgundy grey. It is undoubtedly the best variety of Alsace, where it makes strong, alcoholic, full-bodied, complex wines of high quality. It is also used to make many sweet fortified wines around the world. It is impossible to distinguish stylistic differences between the vines of different countries. In Italy, where it is called Pinot grigio, it is used to make both white wines with distinctive character and expressive drinks.
