A special wine named after Bukephalos, the horse of Alexander the Great, the most famous horse of antiquity. The wine is made, as the name suggests, partly from dried grapes. This creates a particularly intense concentration of aromas. Montepulciano is grown in Abruzzese at an altitude of between 300 and 450 metres. The grapes are left on the vines in the vineyards to dry. After careful selection, they are de-stemmed and crushed. The skins are then left in contact with the must and the indigenous yeasts for 20 days at a constant temperature of 20/22°C. Maturation takes place in stainless steel tanks for at least four months. The wine rests for some time in the bottle before you can buy it.
The minimum purchase price is 2 500 Kč.
