Straw-yellow cloudy colour, small bubbles, beautiful and persistent bubbling. Aromas of kiwi, lemongrass, pear and grapefruit. Fresh and refreshing taste of kiwi, grapefruit, apples, almonds. Quite dry, good acidity, little bitterness. Fresh and fruity aftertaste. The wine is refreshing despite the slightly higher alcohol on the bubbles. Not for sipping on a sultry day, but closer to evening. It's not only good as an aperitif, but will also complement a more substantial meal like baked mushrooms and cheese. No added sulphites.

Description

A rediscovered sparkling hit called PetNat, derived from the almost extinct French Petillant Naturel. A relatively rustic method of sparkling wine production in which the must is fermented with sugar and yeast directly in the bottle. There's always something wild about PetNat. Malvasia has a wonderfully exotic aroma.

Pairs well with: an aperitif, a more substantial dish like baked mushrooms with cheese.
