The success of the spectacular Orgno encouraged Fasoli to plant more Merlot in neighboring sites with the same characteristics. As the younger grapes do not quite meet the high demands of the orgone, they are processed separately to create this 'second wine'. The same complex process of drying the grapes and aging them in barriques guarantees the highest quality of this wine. It is exciting to see the effect of vine age with otherwise identical grape processing.
