Agiorgitiko, an indigenous Greek grape variety, is found mainly in the Peloponnese and mainland Greece. In Tzivani, the grapes are pressed according to type and the wine is then aged in wooden barrels. The result is a multi-layered, powerful red wine with promising ageing potential. Velvety tannins, subtle spice and leathery notes, as well as a fruity sweetness of plums.
